For everyone desiring to hold an event in 2012, it would be appreciated if you could have your event applications completed and turned in to the Safety Officer by November 15, 2012. This does include those events and matches that are held every year, year in and year out. This will help in getting the 2012 calendar completed in a timely manner so that it will be ready for publication in the Plinker in January 2012 and posted on our website.
The Event, Match, and Range Directors 2012 Calendar meeting is scheduled for December 09, 2011 from 1900 to 2100 hours in our Clubhouse. Any events or matches not scheduled by that meeting will have to be scheduled around anything already on the calendar.

SB 5737 Law Enforcement allowed annually to inspect persons home without a warrant to check storage of Semi-Auto Pistols/Rifles
Submitted by Bill2804 on Tue, 02/19/2013 - 3:18pm.Senator Murray sponcering a bill to allow law enforcement to enter a persons home and inspect their Semi-auto weapons without a warrant. The inspection is to allow inspection of how weapons are stored/secured. I saw this on Fox and Friends, today 2/19/13.
-M1 Garand & Bolt Action High Power Matches Starting Soon-
Submitted by franhuntington on Fri, 02/15/2013 - 6:59pm.Howdy high power shooters- CCRPC will be starting up the M1 Garand Matches for the 2013 season beginning April 14th. Matches will be held each month through September on the second Sunday of each month—mark your calendars. The M1 Garand Matches are in addition to both the Old Soldier and CMP Matches held at CCRPC’s High Power Range.

March 2012 CMP Service Rifle match

It was a beautiful day in the High Power neighborhood, with seven riflemen turning out for the March CMP Service Rifle match. After the January snow & ice storm, this has been the first time we’ve had a service rifle match since last November. The first few sighter rounds blew out the rust from the barrels, and then we had some decent scores.

Sign up with the Training Officer. $40.00 non-refundable deposit to save a space, total of $70 for the course, add $11 if not an NRA member.
